Mildred Ada Ebert, nee Townsend, was born April 10, 1923 at Belgrade, Missouri. She died October 26, 2017 at James River Nursing Home in Springfield, Missouri. Her parents were the late Charles Ray Townsend and Florence (Garrett) Townsend of Bismarck, Missouri. They preceded her in death in 1951.
Mildred was reared in Bismarck and attended all twelve grades there. She worked eight years for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She was a member of the Bismarck Methodist Church and was also a member of Mineral Area Chapter 260 O.E.S. at Desloge, Missouri.

May 27, 1944 she married Carl William Reed of Chloride, Missouri. Born to this union are two living children; son Kenneth Townsend Reed of Aurora, Colorado and daughter, Carla Rae Reed of Oak Creek, Wisconsin. Carl preceded her in death on October 12, 1983 at their home in Sullivan, Missouri.
Mildred is survived by two granddaughters; Hillary Lynn (Farmer) Gray and Holly Rebecca (Farmer) Patterson and husband, Michael and three great granddaughters, Sydney, Aubrey and Melanie.

On June 23, 1984 Mildred married Clarence Leonard Ebert of Lesterville, Missouri. They owned and operated "Cedar Creek Acres" at Caledonia, Missouri where they raised Foxtrotter horses. They rode several hundred miles on motorcycle trips and enjoyed retirement to the fullest. Clarence preceded her in death March 21, 2006 at their home in Park Hills, Missouri.

Mildred has two stepchildren; Gerald Lee Ebert and wife, Glenda of Jackson, Missouri and Linda Ann Boatright of Ironton, Missouri. Two stepsons preceded her in death, Clarence Larry Ebert and William Leon Ebert as well as one step grandson, Jeffrey Wayne Browers Jr. and her step son-in-law, Jeffrey Wayne Browers Sr. She is also survived by her step grandchildren; Stacy Collier, Lora Wallace, Mindy Brown, Robin Ebert, Chad Browers, Matthew Ebert, Andrew Ebert, and James Ebert, and fifteen step great-grandchildren as well as special friends and relatives will miss her.
